It’s our end-of-year Fundraiser, set up as a four-week advent calendar with cinematic treats.

When you donate $25 or more to The Flaherty this December, you'll get access to a special collection of short films and programs on our online platform. Each week for the first four weeks of December, we'll release a new set of surprise works donated by artists and partner organizations specifically for this fundraiser.

Make your donation of $25 or more, and you'll receive access to the Flaherty Holiday Film Bundle on our online streaming platform via Eventive, at watch.eventive.org/flaherty. There, a new program of films will be released weekly for four weeks throughout December and will remain available through December 31st, 2025.

We’re sticking to our tradition of non-preconception; the films will be a surprise. All we’ll say for now is that the films are ones you can’t easily find anywhere else. Donated by a few close friends of The Flaherty, they offer a vibrant slice of the bold and original filmmaking supported by the Seminar throughout the last few years.

Each film gift — ranging from feature-length films to short film blocks — will be released on the following dates: 

Gift 1: Monday, Dec 1 

Gift 2: Monday, December 8

Gift 3: Monday, December 15

Gift 4: Monday, December 22 

Stream them week by week, or binge them all on New Year’s Eve.

The programs will be available from the moment they’re released until midnight EST on December 31st.

For over 70 years, The Flaherty has been a home for artists, curators, writers, scholars, and film lovers from around the world. We've supported daring and exciting work, nurtured emerging voices, and created space for tough conversations about cinema that happen nowhere else. That legacy—and this community—is worth keeping alive.
